hello!

it's a saturday.
will be going for standard chartered briefing. then to meet el and the rest. :D

went to mrKit's wedding yesterday. had fun! :D
thanks msHeidi for inviting us lahhhh :D
hahaha.

liyi and i got seperated from msHeidi and cougar. ]:
then we sat together together with rhino and raven. haha.
the wedding photos mr and mrskit took is super nice can!
super duper nice. omt.
and yesterday was damn funny.
'Lucy' issuper funny. hahaha.

and everybody drink so much, they look like lobsters. lol.
and the 'jiemeis' are damn kelian. cause there's only like 6 of them, then the 'xiongdis' got around 30guys. LOL!

then they keep asking them to drink. \:
oolala, i think the beer's damn nice! :D
don't know is what brand or what lah. i only know it's super nice! ^^
hahaha. i don't really l ike the wine. i like the beer! xD

an mrLeon asked me to bottoms up when i have a full cup of beer, while his is only 1/4 cup!
win already.
then liyi keep stopping me from drinking. LOL.

everyone was like, High after the event.

didn't really want to go home.
but there's nowhere to go! ]:
wanted to watch movie, but when msEileen, bangwei, juyao, liyi and i walked to cine, we were already super tired.
and msEileen's like drunk lah. \:
then the alcohol taking effect also. damn tired. HAHA.
so we all went home in the end. = =

took NR6 to sengkang. then take cab home. RAHH.
punggol is so inconvenient! urgh.


anyway, here's a story to share! :D

The Bamboo and the Fern

One day I decided to quit ... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. 'God', I said. 'Can you give me one good reason not to quit?' His answer surprised me. 'Look around,' he said. 'Do you see the fern and the bamboo?'

'Yes', I replied. 'When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.

Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.'

He then said to me, 'Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others. The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful. Your time will come and you will rise high!'

Good days give you happiness. Bad days give you experiences. Both are essential to life, so keep going.

and i hope my mum calls the bank soon to ask about the interest. so she can buy the single for me. yayness! :D
